Article 1 – Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

Cooling-off period: The period during which the consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal.
Consumer: The natural person who is not acting for purposes related to their trade, business, craft, or profession and who enters into a distance contract with the trader.
Day: Calendar day.
Continuous transaction: A contract relating to a series of products or services whose delivery and/or purchase obligation is spread over time.
Durable data carrier: Any medium (including e-mail) that enables the consumer or trader to store information for future reference in an unchanged form.
Right of withdrawal: The consumer’s right to withdraw from a distance contract within the cooling-off period.
Trader: Maison Saint (maisonsaint.store), the legal entity offering products via an online store to consumers.
Distance contract: A contract concluded via a system organized for distance sales without the simultaneous physical presence of the parties.
Means of distance communication: Any means that can be used to conclude a contract without the consumer and trader being in the same place.

Maison Saint is a Dutch brand focused on timeless, refined knitwear and premium essentials.

Article 3 – Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made through the website maisonsaint.store.

Before completing a purchase, customers can review and download these terms for their records.

If specific conditions apply to certain products or services, those take precedence where they benefit the consumer.

Article 4 – The Offer

All product descriptions on Maison Saint are complete and accurate.

Images shown represent the actual product, although slight variations in color may occur due to screen settings.

All offers are non-binding. Prices include VAT. Maison Saint reserves the right to modify or update offers at any time.

Article 5 – The Agreement

The agreement is concluded when the consumer accepts the offer and meets the stated conditions.

After placing an order, the consumer receives a confirmation email.

Maison Saint ensures secure data handling and a safe, encrypted payment environment.

Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days after receiving the product — without stating a reason.

Maison Saint extends this period to 30 days, as part of our customer-first approach.

During this period, the consumer must handle the product and packaging with care.

In most cases, returning the product is not required.

Article 7 – Returns & Refunds

Return costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise stated.

Once we receive the product or proof of return shipment, refunds are processed within 7 working days, and no later than 14 days after withdrawal.

Maison Saint encourages conscious purchasing to minimize unnecessary returns out of respect for the environment.

Article 8 – Exclusions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Customized or personalized products;
Sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once unsealed.

If this applies, it will be clearly stated on the product page.

Article 9 – Prices

All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT.

Free EU shipping applies to all orders.

Maison Saint is not responsible for obvious pricing errors.

Prices may be adjusted due to VAT changes or supplier price updates.

Article 10 – Warranty

All Maison Saint products include a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.

This warranty does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.

The warranty does not apply in cases of misuse, unauthorized repairs, negligence, or damage caused by external factors.

Article 11 – Delivery

Average delivery time: 5–10 business days.

In case of delays, the customer will be informed.

If a product becomes unavailable, Maison Saint will offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.

Article 12 – Continuous Transactions

Maison Saint currently does not offer subscription-based or recurring deliveries.

If this changes, the applicable terms for cancellation and renewal will be specified here.

Article 13 – Payment

Payments must be made through the available checkout options (e.g., iDEAL, PayPal, credit card).

The customer is responsible for providing accurate billing information.

Orders with failed or incomplete payments may be cancelled.

Article 14 – Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order via info@maisonsaint.store.

Maison Saint strives to respond within 14 days.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the consumer may seek mediation under Dutch law.

Article 15 – Disputes

All agreements with Maison Saint are governed by Dutch law, even if the customer resides outside the Netherlands.

Any disputes will be submitted to a competent court in the Netherlands.
